This morning practice is perfect to lubricate the body and mind, while cleansing our energy before entering the day. Each day, we will begin with the Sat Kar Tar meditation to balance the heart and connect us to our truth. Then we will move through various kundalini and hatha sequences to warm and strengthen the muscles, while improving our circulatory, nervous, and lymphatic systems.
This sadhana practice is open to all students, regardless of their level, who can access the floor, as modifications will be offered.
Throughout this practice, the Breath of Fire is offered to balance the solar plexus, the third chakra. This is where we steer our lives through our decisions, actions, or inactions (not doing). To practice, find an even rhythm of inhaling and exhaling through the nose. Each inhale relaxes the belly, while on each exhale it is strongly drawn to the spine. Contraindications include the heaviest days of menses, pregnancy, hernia, or any other abdominal complications.
