Happy Sunday Everyone! Get ready to roll your mat out for 3 new hatha videos. Celdyn uploaded them for you today. Just a gentle reminder of the difference between gentle, beginner, Level 1 and 2:
Gentle classes are perfect for those who need to be mindful of weight bearing postures. Within those classes we will not go on our hands or knees. It doesn't mean they are EASY;) however accessible for those who have physical limitations.
Beginner classes are done with more verbal ques to safely get you in and out of postures. These classes maybe slower in pace. A beginner is just becoming aware of the mind and bodies needs. This mindset is great EVERY TIME you step on to your mat - think of dropping your expectations and ego before, during, and after your practice.
Level 1 and 2 are classes if you have some familiarity with the practice, ease in the body, and desire to challenge yourself. Remember 'challenge' comes in many different forms - our senses become very acute during the quieter practices which leads to distractions. Notice them, smile, take a breath, and come back to what you were doing. Don't quit!
Remember if a video rubs you wrong - it probably means you need to do it again. Maybe I said something, did something, you felt 'off', the back ground noise is irritating, etc. All of these things are great lessons...I am serious! We can't control life, however we can witness how we respond. From there adjust and realign to where you want to feel; patient, compassionate, strong, courageous, calm.
Over the next few weeks I will be recording some more yin and restorative classes. During the holidays make time for some of the softer practices - find ease in the body and mind within the business. You will find this will support your immune system, sleeping habits, and patience! Please let me know how things are going or if you have any requests.
Love & Light!
