This practice is straightforward in concept. So much so it might get overlooked because, depending on who you are and how you are wired, you may have ideas like;
I am bored.
Nothing is happening.
I don't get it.
Therefore, what's the point?
Think about the simple concepts of brushing your teeth, doing laundry, or getting out of bed. If you skipped one day, it wouldn't be too big of a deal. But imagine even 3 days; how would that change your life?
I feel like it would be kind of gross, overwhelming, and heavy even to begin again. What about you? Maybe there was or is a time you could relate.
This daily practice is about cleansing and stimulating while grounding you so that you begin your day knowing how to support yourself moving forward.
It shouldn't be hard; if it is, ask yourself, "How can I show up lovingly?"
