Did you know that our minds and bodies crave repetition, especially when it is favorable like a reward?
The reward pathway is connected to areas associated with memory and behavior. So once you finish something pleasurable — a reward — your brain will remember this behavior and make sure you repeat it in the future.
In yoga, we do pranayama (breath work), meditations, chanting, exercises, and postures over and over again to open these pathways.

How it feels to be good, free, open, and aware in our bodies, mind, emotions, and energy. This connects us more to Spirit, the teacher within, Mama Nature, the Divine, and God. These connections direct us to move our lives in our highest good which benefits everyone and everything in life!
